Meet Nirosha Jayasekara, Centre Director of Little Stars Cranbourne

Dear Families,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the centre director at Little Stars Cranbourne. My name is Nirosha Jayasekara and I have worked in the Early Childhood sector for the past 14 years with approximately 6 years of this time in a Management/Director role. I have held many different roles within the early childhood field including Room Leading, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, Playgroup facilitator and then moving into the Centre Director and I have gained experience working in private and not-for-profit services.

With this experience I have gained strong skills with supporting and leading a team, strong knowledge of the industry and experience supporting families and children within the childcare centre.

Centre Director of Little Stars Cranbourne

I believe that with a supportive team we can create a warm, inviting centre that has an ‘open door’ policy where families always feel welcome. I believe that when children feel comfortable within their environment and when they feel that they belong that this is when you can truly assist the child to their reach their full potential. This can be achieved through having dedicated and engaged staff who are both physically and emotionally available for the children.

On a personal level I am mum to two beautiful children. We are a family that loves our food, and we like to spend weekends cooking food from other cultures and travelling to see beautiful countries or just finding great new places to eat!

I look forward to meeting and welcoming you into Little Stars Cranbourne, where you and your children will always feel safe, nurtured, and ready to embrace the learning opportunities surrounding us.
