Who am I?
I am currently working as the centre director for Little Stars Early learning and kindergarten Endeavour Hills. I have been working in the early learning sector for three years now. However Early childhood wasn’t always my dream.
Ideally, kindergarten will be a smooth, sunny introduction to real school for your child, since it sets the stage for the rest of their education. It provides your child with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and study skills that they will use throughout their schooling. That’s why finding the right school is very important for your child’s formative early learning years.
When looking for a kindergarten, it can be tempting to be laser-focused on the educator but it’s vital to look at the whole kindergarten and get a clear idea of all the services they offer and decide if it’s the right place for your child.
Children start learning from birth. At Little Stars we provide a play-based context for continued learning through which children make sense of the world as they engage actively with people, objects, and spaces.
Kindergarten is a program for young children delivered by qualified early childhood educators. It’s an important step for young children and helps improve children’s health and wellbeing, allowing them to develop confidence and social skills.
I believe that children can achieve anything and confident in whatever they do. Learning can only happen through collaboration and having good relationships with parents, educators, and colleagues.
Book Week presented a time to celebrate favorite characters from classics through contemporary books. Our Little Stars at Cranbourne were encouraged to bring a book to childcare to share with friends.
Dear Families,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as the centre director at Little Stars Cranbourne. My name is Nirosha Jayasekara and I have worked in the Early Childhood sector for the past 14 years with approximately 6 years of this time in a Management/Director role.
Our babies at Little Stars Shepparton enjoyed their book week where they came to kindergarten dressed up, enjoyed listening to stories, and exploring the music the room.
